On the verge of the 19th century in mathematics, a great emphasis was put on investigating qualitative properties rather than the quantitative approach. Mathematics began to change from quantitative science into science which deals mostly with abstract structures. In this presentation, we are going to answer the following question: “What is abstract mathematics and what is it good for?” We will broaden our horizons using applications of greater algebra and an algebraic topology in “real life.”
