Dr. Christopher T. Hank is originally from New York City but has been living in Berlin for about fifteen years, teaching English at Humboldt University and the Technical University of Berlin. His research interests include (language) philosophy; cultural studies; world film, music, and literature; (post)colonial history; and political economy. He has written a theory of political slogans and has been examining the life and work of US performing artist Gil Scott-Heron. He is a guest of Language Centre.
