1st national conference HR in the academic environment

  • 26 November 2015

The goal of the 1st national HR conference is to open and promote issues
associated with human resources development within the academic environment. The
target group is mainly top management of universities and research institutions.
Two keynote speakers will present their contributions on the topic of HR in the
academic environment and there will be two panel discussions. In the first panel
discussion, the male and female scientists will themselves discuss the issue of
internalisation of the scientific environment. The second panel will consist of
reintegrated scientists with direct experience from other countries and who are
able to compare their experiences from abroad with the recent developments in
Czech science. Where can the Czech Republic look for inspiration in other
countries and what has already been achieved. Do Czech and foreign scientists
(male and female) feel good in the Czech Republic? Are their work conditions
satisfactory and motivating? Is the Czech Republic competitive in terms of its
ability to retain top experts? The second panel discussion will provide a forum
for representatives of the management of universities and research centres to
meet. What are the contributions of science internationalisation? Does it
involve any negative aspects as well? What obstacles are most frequently faced
by Czech scientific institutions and how can they efficiently cope with such
obstacles?
Key topics of the conference

  • Human resources (HR) development in the academic environment
  • Internationalisation of research teams
  • Mobility of researchers
  • Welcome services
