Exhibition Lumír Jisl: Photographs from Mongolia 1957–1963

The exhibition of photographs of the Czech archaeologist Lumír Jisl (1921–1969) shall be first introduced in Brno in the Cloister of New Town Hall (Dominikánské nám. 1, entrance from the courtyard). The exhibition is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., 17 May to 12 June 2016, free admission.
Jisl’s unique color photographs were exhibited in Ulaanbaatar in 2014 and 2015, where they attracted the much deserved attention. The event is organized by the Department for the Study of Religions, Faculty of Arts, Masaryk University under the auspices of the Mayor of Brno Petr Vokřál, Ambassador of Mongolia in the Czech Republic H. E. Dzumberellkhan Dorjramba, Ambassador of the Czech Republic in Mongolia Ivana Grollová and Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Masaryk University, Milan Pol.
