International conference Sign Languages in Tertiary Education and Scholarly Publications in Sign La
Sign language users and interpreters as well as all public are cordially invited to attend the international conference Sign Languages in Tertiary Education and Scholarly Publications in SignLanguages.
The conference is organized as part of projects funded by an EEA and Norway grant. It will be held at the Teiresias Centre at Masaryk University (Komenského nám. 2, Brno) on June 16, 2016. Among the participants are experts from the Department of International Studies and Interpreting at Oslo and Akershus University College of Applied Sciences and from the Norwegian agency for special needs education Statped.
The programme will be announced next week. Papers will be given by both deaf and hearing experts from the Czech Republic, Norway, Austria, and Slovakia.
There is no conference fee. Please register by sending your application to prihlaska@teiresias.muni.cz no later than June 12, 2016. The number of participants is limited.
