Research activities
  • I deal with the topics of e-learning, educational games, media effects and teaching models. Besides the educational potential of digital games I´m fascinated by their visual culture, structure, functioning and shared traits with previous media.

    • Zahraniční pracovní pobyt na dánské IT University of Copenhagen. Budu zde pracovat na disertaci, diskutovat s kolegy, navštěvovat přednášky a workshopy v Centre for Computer Games Research.
Other academic activities
  • Gamestudies.cz was the first academic site with focus on (digital) games in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. By producing the educational show SAVE° for the university television I was practically interested in game journalism. In retrospect as co-founder of non-profit organization MU Game Studies, I see sociocultural significance and scope of games as a product of human creativity, and also the processes in which people meet, play and work together rather than against each other.
