Proposed project is intended to bring elaboration of types of compound sentences in Old Church Slavonic as a part of extensive synthetic work on Old Church Slavonic syntax generally. The proposed output will describe and explicate the types of: 1) pa ratactic compound sentences (i.e. of the copulative, adversative, graditive, disjunctive, conclusive and explicative-causal compound sentences) 2) hypotactic compound sentences with a) relative subordinate clauses b) adverbial subordinate clau ses (i.e. with local, temporal, comparative and consecutive, causal, final, hypothetical, concessive, limitative and exceptive subordinate clauses c) subordinate content clauses (declarative, imperative-optative and interrogative). A register-fas cicle to the work as a whole will be prepared, too.
