Aplikovaný výzkum v oblastech vyhledávání, analýz a vizualizací rozsáhlých dat, zpracování přirozeného jazyka a aplikované umělé inteligence

Big data processing is nowadays a fundamental problem in many applications ranging from text retrieval, data analysis, visualization, and understanding. The backbone of this work is the processing of big data for efficient retrieval, storage, analysis, and visualization using various machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques and designing original approaches. This proposal thus builds on and further develops the results of specific research projects from 2010-2021. It is a project that contributes in a comprehensive way to the development of doctoral studies with a focus on synergies with other research and development projects (especially in relation to the use of research towards applications and the development of the CERIT center and possible collaboration with industrial partners of the department's laboratories), as well as to the development of research and development activities of master's students and to support the provision of student participation in international scientific conferences. The project covers research activities led by the staff of the FI Department of Machine Learning and Data Processing and part of the Department of Visual Informatics.
