The project comprises research, processing and evaluation of all significant Metazoa groups of aquatic ecosystems in the extended Pálava Biosphere Reserve of UNESCO. It develops the completed project of the Grant Agency of the Czech Republic No. 206/93/2 053 (Rozkošný & Vaňhara /eds./, 1995-1996; Laštůvka, 1994) and another one under process by the same editors (No. 206/96/0997), a part of which the 4th free volume is planned (Rozkošný & Vaňhara /eds./, 1998-scheduled).
