Description In the study we present four examples of long swords which in spite of marked typological and morphological differences are linked by the presence of marks in the form of a bishops crozier on their blades. Two of these are swords obtained through archaeological research - Mstěnice and an unknown location in the Uherské Hradiště region. The remaining two come from the collections of the South Moravia Museum in Znojmo. All of these swords are linked on the one hand by their date of origin during the 15th and the beginning of the 16th century, and on the other by their being furnished with marks in the form of a bishops crozier, which are generally taken to be the marks of the Passau workshops.
