Description Outcrops of Quaternary deposits lining banks of the Brno dam. One of them is situated on the left bank near of Osada pier (c. 250 m NW). The sedimentary profile of Pleistocene deposits is composed of fluvial deposits of the Paleo – Svratka River covered by deluvioal and eolian (loesses) deposits. Alternation of various facies and various grain-size fractions reveals alternation of more or less arid condition and also evolution of the surrounding landscape.
