| Description | The following contribution is concerned with motivation and the process of motivating students of foreign languages for specifics purposes. Its aim is to introduce an on-going project of a planned dissertation. The introductory chapter presents the current situation of teaching foreign languages for academic purposes at Masaryk University. Theoretical definition of the topic as well as basic terminology follow. The selected examples of scientific research focused on this field are presented too. The conclusion discusses the planned dissertation project. |
