| Description | Themen of „health“ and „illness“ have been always very popular in the spoken and written communication in Czech. In the corpora of spoken Czech the Czech words zdraví (health), nemoc, choroba, onemocnění (illness) are not frequent very much; it can depend on the small extent of those corpora. In the corpus of written texts SYN (1,3 mld words and tokens) that words were found in a lot of thousands sentences. That is why we have decided to research the words zdraví, nemoc, choroba, onemocnění in collocations adjective + zdraví, adjective + nemoc, adjective + choroba, adjective + onemocnění. We presuppose the frequency of the collocations can reflex how much attention is paid to some themen of “healt” and “illness” (what kind of illness are spoken about, what problems of health are discussed). Those collocations are used almost in the journalistic texts, some of them have been found in scientific texts, too. We tried to find how the frequency of that collocation reflexes interess of various themen of health and illness. |
