| Description | The paper deals with pathological eating habits. It focuses on the descriptive characteristics of eating disorders on a global scale. It captures the historical context and contemporary concepts of eating disorders, and specific - anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa and atypical - bigorexia, orthorexia, drunkorexia and paroxysmal overnutrition. At the same time it is detected a correlation between eating disorders, sports and the perception of one's own body. The paper presents results of research conducted at elementary schools of South maravian and Zlín Region. |
