• Description: During the excavation of Pohansko held by Masaryk University was used also the dendrochronology. The interdisciplinary cooperation gave the first absolute dating of this important Great Moravian site. The dated samples came from three different archaeological contexts – the fortification, the well, and the settlement pit.
