Description Using the example of five Baťa-organised trading and manufacturing companies, the author illustrates the development of and changes within the behaviour of the concern in the wider central European region. In this context, the study presents an analysis of certain programme and personal/personnel aspects related to the acting of the concern. Simultaneously, the image is drawn of the interconnections and interdependence between the subsidiaries, the Zlín-based parent company, and foreign investors.
