| Description | We present a review of classification of the penile intraepithelial neoplasias preceding invasive squamous cell carcinomas. Because these lesions are analogous to vulvar lesions, we present classification of vulvar lesions first and in analogy with vulvar intraepithelial neoplasias we present the classification of penile intraepithelial neoplasias. Some terms as Bowenoid papulosis, Bowenoid dermatosis, erythroplasia of Queyrat, leukoplakia and giant condyloma of Buschke-Lowenstein should not be used in diagnostic pathology any more. |
