Description Various herbs and plants widely used in traditional medicines have been deeply investigated due to the presence of bioactive compounds and nutrient properties. Morinda citrifolia L. commonly known as noni is an evergreen shrub with typical yellow-green fruits. Exact chemical composition differs in dependence on plant part and degree of fruit maturation and has not been fully described yet. Nevertheless, partial description and identification of compounds presented in noni indicates high antioxidant potential and promising therapeutic effects. We analyzed several commercially available noni products (4 juices, 4 milled dry fruit powders and 2 capsules with dry fruit powder) which were bought via internet or in local pharmacies. Our interest was focused on comparison of spectrophotometrically obtained antioxidant characteristics and HPLC fingerprints of extracts obtained by means of different sample pretreatment procedures. Further, selected analytes were identified and quantified
