| Description | The monograph analyses the development of the sports environment in the Czech Republic in the last two decades in terms of progress of this social phenomenon in its historical context. In particular it focuses on the most significant processes and events that have rehaped the sports envuronment since the beginning of the 1990´s to the present. The text does not avoid controversial moments of this development either. The focus of the work is put on descriptions of the Czech Sports Association (CSTV) transformation. CSTV used to be a dominant sports organization in the period before the social transformation process and it is still a significant one to this day. |
