| Description | The article was created as the result of the research oriented at innovation of the content and forms of secondary and high school mathematics teaching. The aim of our contribution is to emphasize the significance of material science in past and present. Very shortly are the main periods and strategies of this science introduced and some possibilities of its developing are mentioned. Since the subject is very extensive by itself, we confined only to mechanical properties of materials. |
