Description Method sVEP is very rapid and independent examination and is suitable for infantile visual acuity examination and for some groups of adults. Together with subjective examination, e.g. Snellen chart, sVEP enable better to understand to relationship between visual acuity and contrast sensitivity in group of infant and adults. In our study we showed that sVEP is possible to use for objective visual acuity measurement because produce statistically non-important differences between sVEP and Snellen in first and second sample. We recommend to use sVEP only for visual acuity measurement in group of patients, where is not possible to use subjective method.
