| Description | The main task of this text is to describe the relationship of the separation of powers and the right to equal access to public office. At first, in his contribution the author characterizes the right to equal access to public office and analyses its different levels. A specific attention is dedicated to reflections of the concept of equal access and the character of the system of checks and balances in argumentation by the principle of separation of powers. Some of author's conclusions are manifestated on the decisions of the Constitution Court of the Czech Republic. |
