| Description | The paper reflects the growing interest in learning management systems (LMS ) because of their increasing popularity. It demonstrates the use of LMS outside the educational process at university. Nowadays, LMS deployment to other areas of education results in converging functionality with other systems that are not designed primarily for education (eg, content management systems, project management and collaboration of users in real time). Modules carrying elements of the collaborative work of students / users then highlight the functional overlaps and their usefulness for effective participation following a common output in team work. Case Study demonstrates a shift in the use of LMS in the plane of the information system serving as a platform for networking educational institutions. |
