| Description | The paper elaborates on the issue of didactical comics and introduces its educational potential regarding science education. The aim is to motivate teachers in schools and provide them with inspiration on how to use a comics for their own teaching. Firstly, the reader is acquainted with a brief history of comics and "milestones" of its use for educational purposes. Then, characteristics of comics are explained, which allow its functioning as an educational tool. A simple manual how to create a didactical comics for the purposes of own instruction via free online interface is provided. Included are also suggestions about how to work with comics in science instruction. |
