| Description | We deal with Babbage's contribution to the theory of functional equations. After a short profile of Charles Babbage and a general comment on the topic of functional equations, we describe three Babbage's articles involving his original way of solutions of some equations. Finally, we introduce Babbage's functional equation with a specific class of particular solutions. |
