Description Acne tetrada is a syndrom consisting of acne conglobata, hidradenitis suppurativa, perifolliculitis capitis abscedens et suffodiens and sinus pilonidalis. The conventional systemic therapy includes antibiotics, retinoids, imunosupressive therapy, peroral antidiabetics, sulphons, surgical methods and in women hormonal therapy. “Biological era“ reveals new methods of treatment. Besides psoriasis gets the harsh forms of acne to the point of interest of biological treatment nowadays. Acne is imunologically mediated desase with incerased levels of tumor necrosis factor alfa. Positive effect of therapy using anti TNF-alpha drugs (adalimumab, etanercept, infliximab) can be asumed.
