Description | The purpose of the study is a qualitative analysis of the stories of patients living with a diagnosis of major depressive disorder in order to identify the themes of communion, agency, redemption and contaminanion sequences and to explore their autobiografical memory. The aim of the work was to identify context and relations between the themes of communion, agency, redemption and contamination sequences and to look on specific signs of autobiografical memory during the depressive episode. The study has set a goal to explore rumination thinking and overgeneral autobiographical memories. In conclusion, there is a discussion about the issue of specificity of memories in the context of endogenous and exogenous manifestation of the disorder. |
