| Description | This paper deals with further education of secondary school teachers and presents selected results of our research. Its aim was two-fold: to describe and analyse relevant factors and current circumstances of further education of secondary school teachers and to identify links between teachers’ relationship to further education, motivation to further education and marketing tools of an educational institution on the one hand and selected professionally-demographic features on the other. Quantitative approach was used for answering research questions and verification of working hypotheses. An original questionnaire was devised to collect the data (June 2013). The sample was constructed from grammar school and vocational secondary school teachers in the South Moravian Region (ISCED 3A). The survey results can be inspiring for educational institutions, its employees or students. Results of the research also show possible directions of further research. |
