| Description | Starting 1960s the scientific studies on photocatalysis has been prosecuted, primarily in Japan. First steps began with photoelectrochemical solar energy conversion and later were shifted into technical problems as self-cleaning surfaces, photoinduced hydrophilicity and some environmental applications. Since the photocatalysis is typical interdisciplinary problem, it can be suitable subject for project tuition at various types of schools and universities. |
