| Description | In the lecture, we introduce the concepts of successful aging and we present the results from major longitudinal studies (like Harvard Study of Adult Development and others) suggesting the factors of healthy/successful aging. We also present the results of own research on life satisfaction, mental health and physical health in Czech senior citizens. Finally, we bring a summary of findings and suggest recommendations related to life satisfaction, health and optimal functioning of the elderly. |
