Description It is typical for contemporary German pronunciation to reduce all unstressed syllables. The core of such syllables are almost exclusively the reduced e or vocalized r, which do not have their Czech equivalents. This reduction is difficult for Czech students both to understand and to pronounce. This phenomenon requires attention and practice.
