Description The study evaluated the effect of aerobic endurance training and quality of life in patients with cardiovascular disease. The first aim of this study was to assess the effect of 12-weekly 75 controlled aerobic training in patients on performance parameters (symptom-limited load, V02max, METS). The second objective was to assess changes in the quality of life in these patients who háve received aerobic training. The examined group consisted of 18 patients, including 10 men and 8 women. The first endpoint was symptóm limited load-calculated per 1 kg of weight (W / kg), which average value before the rehabilitation was 1.42 ± 0.5, after its completion was increased to 1.48 ± 0.5. The second endpoint was the peak oxygen converted to 1 kg of weight (V02max / kg). The average value of this parameter had before rehabilitation value of 18.1 ± 5.5, after completing rehabilitation increased to 19.3 ± 6.9. The final evaluation of the performance parameter was metabolic equivalent, which has increased during training from the originál value of 5.1 ± 1.6 to 5.5 ± 2.0. All of the results did not reach statistical significance at p> 0.05. The second research objective of the study was to evaluate the quality of life before and after completion of cardiovascular rehabilitation. There was a statistically significant improvement (p <0.05) in all parts of the SAQ 1 - 5 after evaluating of Seattle Angina Questionnaire completed by patients before and after completing a three-month aerobic endurance training. Key words: Cardiac Rehabilitation. Aerobic Training. Physical Load. Quality of Life.
