Description Cardiovascular diseases are the leading cause of death in the woríd. Integrál part of the treatment of cardiovascular diseases is a cardiovascular rehabilitation. The task of the survey was to determine the presence mainly posthospytal phase of cardiovascular rehabilitation and the ways of design in selected European countries. Another objective was to determine whether the electronic form of the questionnaire is a sufficient method for obtaining exploratory information. The survey was conducted by said form, electronic questionnaire 88 circulated by e-mail to selected countries (England, Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Slovakia). The questionnaire used in addition to the introductory part two sets of questions regarding the possibility of providing cardio rehabilitation and adjustment, during the actual training in patients with cardiovascular disease and it was posted properly in the language of each adressed country. According to results the possibility of providing second phase of cardiovascular rehabilitation appears to be insufficient in Slovakia compared to other selected countries. Also a form of an online questionnaire demonstrated a lack of force as a means of dáta collection. Cardiovascular rehabilitation is a hot topic with the necessity of systematic solutions and creating the conditions for improving the live quality of patients with cardiovascular disease.
