Description Electronic (e-) cigarettes usually look like conventional cigarettes, or cigars/pens, and are increasingly popular with wide advertising, as ,,safe smoking", effective substitution for smoking cessation and reducing cigarette consumption, and enabling to smoke anywhere. The actual scientific evidence do not support these claims; our knowledge about acute and chronic effects on e-cigarettes users' health, as well as on exposed no-smokers are inadequate. It is necessary to organize the serious research to assess e-cigarettes toxicant exposure and its individual and public risks. Before the confirmation, that e-cigarettes really offer the healthier alternative of tobacco smoking, they should be appreciated as another tobacco product.
