Description The present invention relates to a plasma treatment method of internal and/or external surface of a hollow, electrically non-conducting body (1), wherein the invention is characterized in that the internal surface (2) of a hollow, electrically non-conducting body (1) and/or the external surface of a hollow electrically non-conducting body (1) is subjected to the action of layer of an electric plasma of a surface dielectric barrier discharge generated in a gas volume (7, 9) by alternating or pulsating voltage (10) with amplitude exceeding 100 V from a pair of liquid electrodes formed by an internal electrically conducting liquid (4) arranged inside a hollow, electrically non-conducting body (1), and an external electrically conducting liquid (5) arranged outside the hollow, electrically non-conducting body (1). The electrical plasma generates above the level (6, 8) of the electrically conducting liquid (4, 5), where in the gas volume (7, 9) a layer of electrical plasma is formed wherein the layer of the electrical plasma creates a ring (11) copying the shape of the hollow, electrically non-conducting body (1) surface (2, 3), whereby electrical resistance between the liquid electrodes is greater than 10 kOhm. The invention also relates to an apparatus for carrying out the above-described method of plasma treatment of an internal and/or external surface of a hollow, electrically non-conducting body (1)
