| Description | The article is a contribution to the discussion on the fragmentation of modern linguistics into different mutual exclusive schools. It gives an assessment in how far there is a dialog going on between these different schools within the field of German Studies in Czech Republic. As the result of this assessment is to a large extent negative, the consequences of an exclusive approach towards linguistic diversity are pointed out. |
