| Description | The article is a transcription of an oral presentation delivered at a conference on human dignity. It points out that the value of human dignity is a significant argument justifying the importance of human rights protection in the political and social discourse. It further shows how, and why, a concrete judge – the author of the article works with this notion in her judicial practice. The contribution concludes with a summation of basic areas where a Czech constitutional judge cannot get along without human dignity argumentation. |
