Description *Slotted RF plasma jet PLASMA SLIT - 003 is designed for pilot testing conditions for surface preparation materials before application of paints or gluing in order to create new technology R & D finishes at Synpo Inc. RF plasma slotted nozzle (13.56 MHz) with a width of approximately 100 mm in an aluminum housing the shield is fastened to an adjusting impedance element. Own body of the plasma jet is formed by dielectric heat-resistant material (1000 ° C). A plasma jet flowing argon or mixture of argon and other additives (usually up to 1% argon by volume). RF discharge is ignited from HV Tesla transformer. The plasma jet gives "cold" type of highly non-isothermal plasma. In the part of the plasma which acts on surface materials, it contains a very high concentration of charged particles. Thanks to these characteristics the plasma is highly effective for the reaction and the chemical and physical modification of the surface materials. Given that argon is an inert gas, it is relatively easy to prevent access of air to the surface of the material to create a suitable reaction atmosphere near the surface to be processed. The result was made based on the verification of properties.
