Description The invention provides a method of determination of diagnosis and prognosis of B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia from a biological sample collected from the body of a patient, wherein the status of Wnt/PCP signaling pathway is determined. Within the framework of the present invention the relation of CLL and molecular signaling pathway Wnt/PCP the components of which are markedly up-regulated in B-lymphocytes of the patients suffering from CLL was identified. The status of the Wnt/PCP signaling pathway can be determined, e.g., by the determination of the expression of components of said signaling pathway or by the determination of migration of CLL cells in the gradient of a chemokine in the presence of the ligand of said signaling pathway. The invention also relates to suitable oligonucleotides for use in the method of determination of expression of the signaling pathway components.
