| Description | Since 19th century renvoi is considered to be one of the classic problems of conflict-of-laws method. However, attitudes towards this issue differ significantly in particular states. Czech Act No. 91/2012 Coll., on Private International Law, contains more detailed and partially different regulation of renvoi than the previous Act No. 97/1963 Coll. Nevertheless, it does not regulate the relation between renvoi and alternative connecting factors. The question is whether the application of alternative conflict-of-law rule or renvoi should take precedence. Therefore, the aim of this contribution is to analyse particular cases and to show possible solutions. |
