| Description | In our article we present a particular output of the research which was focused on the application of interdisciplinary connections of mathematics, natural science and geography in primary school education. One of the learning situations inspired by information from magazine was analyzed. The activity itself was developed within the project "Math in the Media". The author is one of the researchers of the project. The contribution indicates how 5th grade students of elementary school can explore mutual connections of different disciplines on a suitable everyday life situations and problems, while applying already acquired mathematical knowledge. |
