Description This paper deals with time in current psychotherapy. Our conceptualization of time is based on the theory of time perspective postulated by Zimbardo and Boyd. We try to describe the modern view of human agency in social psychology which put a major emphasis on the way people construct time into three different time frames (the past, the present, the future). We also describe the time-oriented psychotherapy, new therapeutical tool based on time perspective and social psychology.
