Description The paper points out the significant aspects of art therapy. Art therapy is a discipline that uses art, human creativity, artistic techniques and the tools to express themselves. Through the diverse activities of the individual gets a better understanding of own feelings and adequately can identify problems, anxiety, etc. Artistic activities in art therapy include creative thinking, empathy and imagination into paintings, experiencing emotions and social integration. Art therapy is used as a common space between two or more persons, and improves communication. Furthermore, the author of the text is focused on the formation and development of the art therapy and also points to the approaches of the art therapist.
