| Description | Adult acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL) represents a rare aggressive precursor lymphoid neoplasm. Philadelphia (Ph) chromosome is found in approximately one fourth of the patients. BCR-ABL fusion gene transcript can be blocked by tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs). In patients with a relapse, resistance, intolerance or with a BCR-ABL mutation a TKI switch is necessary. |
