Description Crohn's disease (CD) is a multifactorial, lifelong inflammatory condition of the digestive tract of unknown etiology and pathogenesis partially understood. They belong, together with ulcerative colitis to the group of inflammatory bowel disease. Crohn's disease affect the digestive tract wall transmural inflammation, typically in the segmantal and or plurisegmental localization. Clinical manifestations of Crohn's disease of the small intestine, the phenotype of the disease are very diverse and vary according to location, and extent of disease aktivity. For CN in this localization is characterized by difficult to manage course with serious metabolic consequences (malnutrition, anemia) and a number of complications requiring surgical treatment.
