Description This Contribution is about psychological and health consequences caused by involuntary job losses and their wider social impact including professional orientation changes. You will see how people deal with stressful situation as losing of job is and how they are adapting to it. Based on experience and studying of this phenomenon in a country with transformed economy we will try to integrate the findings into career guidance practice. Finally we will point out the consequences of the living human labour decrease for people and society, which will require increasing support for professionalization of career guidance services.
