Description Article presents results of clinical research on treatment effectiveness with adapalene creme or gel in therapy of Acne vulgaris grade I.–II. Research was conducted in period from February 2015 to June 2015 at twenty five Departments of Dermatology in Czech Republic. Total number of patients was 223. Treatment took place 8 weeks including four clinical examinations. The study demonstrated the efficacy of adapalene monotherapy when after 8 weeks of treatment there was a reduction of inflammatory acne symptoms by 67 % and non-inflammatory symptoms by 62 %. It was also demonstrated a statistically significant reduction of the degree of acne. Side effects were evaluated, adherence to treatment, quality of life and the information provided to patients. Participation in a study of 211 patients properly terminated.
