Description Bryofloristic surveys of 10 rock habitats were made in the Žďárské vrchy highlands (Czech Repulic) in 2006. These localities are consisting of rocks and sometimes of block fi elds. During surveys in 2006, we found 104 bryophytes (33 liverworts and 71 mosses). Altogether 131 species (44 liverworts and 87 mosses) were recorded, including literature records. The most frequent species were common mosses Cynodontium polycarpon, Dicranum scoparium, Hypnum cupressiforme, Pohlia nutans, Polytrichum formosum, and Tetrapis pellucida and liverwort Lepidozia reptans. The most commons life strategies are colonists and perennials. The most frequent distribution range types are temperate, boreal, and subboreal.
