Description In this contribution a new voltammetric method for the determination of a novel antibacterial agent 1-hydroxy-N-(4-nitrophenyl)naphthalene-2-carboxamide is introduced. This compound is determined at a glassy carbon electrode in dimethly sulfoxide. Focus of this study is a possibility of measuring very small volumes in a microcell and removing interference of oxygen in cathodic voltammetry either by altering microcell measuring protocols or by using a method of square wave voltammetry.
