| Description | The contribution is devoted to the presentation and reflection of social science and spatial science typologies of participatory housing, as a phenomenon that has been known abroad for a long time, but in the Czech Republic the development is limited due to various historical sediments, which lead to misleading and pejorative interpretations of concrete historical forms and terms, including collective housing, cooperative housing and newly also community housing. Our typologies aspire to avoid this scenario by offering inclusive, systemic approach, which presents participation in housing from the perspective of different aspects - economic, spatial, social, organizational and contextual. It offers examples different forms of housing including municipal housing, social housing, modern housing coops, baugruppe or cohousings. |
